The panel explores historical memory 80 years after WWII across three levels: national narratives, the European post-war order, and museum institutions. Special emphasis is placed on how museums construct narratives, address selective memory, and navigate decolonial approaches alongside Holocaust representation. Speakers will discuss who controls these stories, who they serve, and how museums can manage competing perspectives and social challenges without reducing history to current politics.
